As with all things new, a learning curve needs to be navigated in order to obtain the best results and to capitalise on its strengths.
Blogging is the currently accepted means of what I call staccato communication, or sending many small messages over a period of time. It is great because it allows one to assimilate the idea presented, respond to it, and get feedback. This, in person to person communication, is known as a conversation or a consultation.
In this instance, we are reading short articles from experts on a subject of our choice within a community we enjoy. In other words we feel we belong to this "world" as do the writers of the articles. This makes the advice received more pertinent and personal.
Ultimately as time progresses we will enjoy over 200 blogs in this website from a wide variety of women experts. It is indeed something to look forward to.
